Welcome to the North Texas Community Hospital website



North Texas Community Hospital is a not-for-profit Hospital exempt under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code; accredited by the Joint Commission and licensed by the State of Texas.

The Hospital is situated on approximately 20 acres located at 1905 Doctors Hospital Drive, Bridgeport, Texas.  
 
We officially opened August 26, 2008 with 36 beds and will be expanding to 52 beds in the spring of 2009.  The services and specialties that the Hospital offers include the following:

Anesthesia Cardiology Gastroenterology Urology Family Practice Radiology Physical Therapy Sleep Studies

Clinical Laboratory Orthopedics General Surgery Emergency Medicine Pulmonary Medicine Obstetrics Mammography

 
Located next door to the Hospital is a 36,000 sq. ft. Medical Office Building which will provide additional hospital beds, physician offices and additional services including Physical Therapy.

 

 

Open Hearts As a not-for-profit organization, we welcome donations and volunteers.  From the gift shop to the information desk, we have several opportunites for those who want to help provide the best in care for our patients and thier families.  Charitable donations are also accepted and appreciated. We call it our Open Hearts program and we welcome your participation.  Whether through a monetary gift or the commitment of your time, you can make a difference to our patients, our visitors and our future.

* FAITH * The cross is recognized as an international symbol of healthcare and it also illustrates that our patient care is based in Faith. * COOPERATION * Our logo blends the colors associated with physicians from both sides of the county. * LIFE * The line in the middle of our logo represents the course of the Big Sandy Creek through Wise County.  For years we said the line was the silhouette of an expecting mother.  Upon the opening of the hospital it's a reminder of the circle of life.
